Debbie Lee: Some call me an enigma, some call me friend, some have even called me lover. But, I'm most blessed to be called Mother. Motherhood is hard. Single motherhood is harder. Single motherhood with seven young children is unlike anything you've ever known. Couple that with the pursuit of my lifelong dream to sing and write - well, that has unique challenges of its own. Explanation of Tattoo

The tattoo pictured above is in memoriam of the oldest of my eight children, Elisa Eileen, who passed at the tender age of 5 months 1 day old. It has her birthdate and her death date. When I moved away from Utah - where she is buried - I couldn't take her or her headstone with me, so on her 13th birthday, I had this tattoo done as well as my tongue pierced.
